Our Goal:
Over the past year, queer-owned businesses have faced increased targeted harassment and violence. Storefronts have been vandalized, venues have been threatened, events have been terrorized, and LGBTQ+ small business owners have been brutalized. Queer-owned businesses are under attack and need our support more than ever.
But despite the hate, there’s so much to celebrate! LGBTQ+ small business owners are culture-shapers, trend-makers, and job-creators. We build safe spaces, provide services, and develop innovative products for our communities and our allies.
Queer-owned businesses are resilient, and with the holiday season right around the corner, LGBTQ+ Business Week is here to spread some queer business cheer and help you #BuyProud.
This week-long digital awareness initiative aims to:
increase visibility of queer-owned businesses
empower LGBTQ+ small business owners
raise awareness of economic issues facing LGBTQ+ people.
